Why wont grape vine yield any grapes?
Yes, you also need to train them either on triailes, or wire them up and tie them with Green Garden tape. So you also need to put if you only have one grape vine approximately 1 1/2 cup Sulfate Ammona to fertilize around the Grape vine.

This will help also. Then now pruning will depend on what you wish on your grapes. What I mean on this is as your prune the vines, pay attention very close:{ If you wish High sugar contents then cut the vines even Number eye lits on the vine, if you are growing for home wine then odd Number eyelets. Which are the new Spring Buds for coming season growth season. { Example : count either 4 buds then cut vine or other

7,11,13 then cut vine%26gt; This works out even for small Garden or Patio Grapes, trained on a Trellis.} Good luck and happy Growing Grapes.
Reply:Some grape vines yield grapes every other year. To ensure that your vine is fruitful you should prune the vine at the end of the season when it would be dormant for the winter. You will want to trim off all of the excess vines and branches leaving only the main vine. You will be surprised at how quickly your vine will sprout new growth!
