....I've asked for helping ID'ing several plants and trees lately.. I'm trying to figure out what everything is, so I can read up on it, to decide whether to keep or remove some of it - and how to care for what I keep! lol
Thanks! =)
A vine with large heart shaped leaves?? *Photos*?
resembles grape vine or muscadine vine to me. I could be wrong, there are some great plant people out here
Reply:I've see a vine like that growing wild in the woods and judging from pictures in some of your other questions it seems that you have a lot of native plants.. The vine I've seen doesn't do anything more that what you see now. No flowers or anything else. I never did know what it was called.
Reply:Looks like grape except for the last picture when the size makes it iffy. Is it a 'furry' leaf or a smooth shiny one? If it's smooth and shiny i would say grape. Whatever it is I would remove some of it. All vines tend to choke over plants unless you keep them in order.
Reply:Looks like grape ivy. It should have little 'legs' that wrap around anything small enough (even itself) to help support itself as it grows. As another post said..doesn't do much but grow.
Reply:it looks like hedera helix ( english ivy )
try looking it up on google image !
hope this helps !
Reply:I might take a guess at Wild ginger
